VIP Golf Membership

If you’re a serious golfer, you might want to look into getting a VIP Golf Membership. Basically, you pay $469.95 + GST for a membership which then gives you the priviledge of paying a discounted rate on about 25 courses in Southern Alberta. Based on the average savings and depending on where you play, it’ll take about 10-15 rounds to breakeven. I guess it’s worth it if you play a lot of golf, but I think it’s a lot of money to commit up front and the savings aren’t significant enough.

Also, if you dig a little deeper, you’ll quickly notice that the regular golf rates posted on VIP’s website is actually a lot higher then the actual regular rates on the golf courses website. I would be careful. The savings aren’t as high as VIP tries to make it out to be.
