Here’s my review of Knetgolf.com:

I use standard Nike/ Titleist balls. I go through about 6 dozen balls (72 balls) a season and usually buy them at local retail stores for about $25-$30 a box (12 balls in a box). If you factor in taxes, the price breaks down to about $2.25 a ball. Even cheap no-name balls sell for about $20 a box nowadays. Balls are even more expensive when you buy them a sleeve at a time. Bottom line, golf balls aren’t cheap and it hurts losing them.

I was highly recommended by a bunch of avid golfers to checkout Knetgolf.com. They kept raving about how awesome the site is and talked about how much money they’ve managed to save over the years from buying golf balls from knetgolf.

I was a bit sceptical at first and wasn’t really open to the idea of buying used or recycled golf balls. After doing some research online and finding out that Knetgolf.com is the largest online retailer of golf balls and have over 250,000 satisfied customers, I decided to give them a try. I was told to buy their “Mint” golf balls because they look, feel, and play like brand new balls. You can save more money if you buy their lower graded balls. Knetgolf has the following Grade of Balls (Mint, Grade A, Grade B, Shag or Grade C). Here’s Knet Golf’s Grade Definition:

MINT Quality Recycled Golf Balls
Knetgolf.com’s Mint quality recycled golf balls are the best available and are the choice for many golfers regardless of skill level. The Mint balls have both the appearance and feel of a ball that has been hit for a maximum of only one hole of play and that is why we identify them as ‘One Hole Wonders’.

They have a consistent color and a glossy shine. There are no X Outs. Corporate or sport team logos will be in the mix unless otherwise noted.

GRADE A Quality Recycled Golf Balls
Knetgolf.com’s Grade A recycled golf balls are clean, playable and have moderate surface blemishes and minor to moderate ink marks. None of the surface marks or slight blemishes will affect the trajectory, distance or flight path of the ball. There may be very minor user markings or the color may be slightly inconsistent as these balls are similar to ones you have played a few holes with. These balls are slightly cosmetically challenged but have no cuts or creases. No X outs are included in this mix. Corporate or sport team logos will be in the mix unless otherwise noted.

GRADE B Quality Recycled Golf Balls
Knetgolf.com’s Value Grade B recycled golf balls are the best valued buy for budget minded golfers. The Grade B recycled balls are 100% playable. The Grade B balls may be cosmetically challenged in that they have moderate surface blemishes and minor to moderate ink marks. None of the surface marks or slight blemishes should affect the trajectory, distance or flight Path of the ball. A cut ball is considered unplayable. If Knetgolf deems that the scuff or scratch is too large or if it tears into the cover of the ball, it will not qualify for any of our grades.

Cart paths, trees, and other small markings on the surface may be evident. Corporate or sport team logos will be in the mix unless otherwise noted. Knetgolf.com stands 100% behind this product and all purchases are backed by our 100% guarantee.

SHAG or GRADE C Quality Recycled Golf Balls
Knetgolf.com’s Grade C or Shag Quality recycled golf balls are a great value buy for golfers looking for practice balls or that ever-difficult long shot over the water hazard. The Shag Quality golf balls are clean and 100% playable but show definite signs of use. Color variation may be evident and may vary in intensity ball to ball. Moderate sized personal markings or visible scuffs from trees or cart paths may also be evident. A cut ball is considered unplayable. If Knetgolf deems that the scuff or scratch is too large or if it tears into the cover of the ball, it will not qualify for any of our grades.

There may be X Out or practice balls in this mix, as well as sport teams or corporate logos. Knetgolf.com stands 100% behind this product in its entirety and all purchases are backed by our 100% guarantee.

I ended up buying 6 dozen “Mint” Nike balls from them last season for about $35. I was completely blown away when I received the package. The package was shipped directly to my door within a week. They have warehouses in Canada and the US, and will ship from the warehouse within your country so you don’t have to worry about paying extra custom or duty fees. I opened the box and took a close look at the balls. The balls come in blue fishnet bags of a dozen. Of the 70 balls that I got, only 6 of the balls had a corporate logo. Besides that, the balls looked brand new. They were all clean and sparkling white. The balls were indistinguishable from brand new balls in terms of look, feel, and playability. I’m positive that your friends wouldn’t be able to tell the difference form a Mint Knet Golf ball and a brand new one. Knet Golf even included a free bag of golf tees.

I was very happy with the balls and would highly recommend Knetgolf.com to everyone. I recently purchased another 10 dozen Titleist Tour Prestige balls (so I would qualify for free shipping) for the start of this season and can’t wait to use them.

After doing the math, the balls that I bought from Knetgolf.com ended up costing me about $0.55 a ball. That’s 80% cheaper then retail prices ($0.55 vs. $2.25 a ball)!

If you don’t believe me, make a small test order. They offer a 100% money back guarantee if you’re not satisfied so you have nothing to lose. I’m confident you won’t be disappointed. At the end of the day, the best thing about this is it no longer hurts to loose a ball. It used to drive me crazy whenever I lost a nice new ball. I no longer care or worry about losing balls and it’s allowed me to better focus on my game and has helped lower my score.
