The City of Calgary has finally released their 2017 public golf course and driving range opening dates.
This is a TENTATIVE listing of Course/Range openings. All openings, green status and hours of operations are subject to change without notice due to weather and course conditions. Reduced rates may be in effect. Contact the clubhouse directly for up to date information.

Springbank Links Golf Club will be opening the driving range and back 9 holes on Friday, March 31, 2017.
Opening Notes
- Yes… we will be on regulation greens.
- Carts are required to stay on the paths until the turf becomes more active.
- The front 9 is not yet ready due to thick ice in shaded areas.

HeatherGlen Golf Course opened on full regulation greens on Saturday, March 25, 2017. It’s their earliest course opening ever!

Muirfield Lakes Golf Club’s opening day will be on Friday, March 31, 2017.
They will be playing on 18 holes, on regulation greens, and power carts will be available.

Calgary newest golf course will be opening soon in May 2017!
Serenity Golf Club by Play Golf Calgary Group will features 36 holes with the first 18 holes, Dancing Bull, opening in May 2017. The second 18 holes, Sun Catcher will open later in 2018.

With a few monumental courses opening in the next few years in Kananaskis and Mickelson. We have been quietly working away at Play Golf Calgary newest course, Serenity Golf Club. Serenity is 10min east of Stoney Trail on 22x (just south of Indus). We are only minutes from Mckenzie Town, Mahogany, Copperfield etc.
We have been working on Serenity for over 6 years with a brief hiatus to purchase and finish Blue Devil and now we are ready to open. May long is our launch date for the first 18 holes at Serenity, Dancing Bull. The second 18, Sun Catcher, will open in 2019 to complete the 36 semi private facility.
We have some great multi course memberships we are launching now.

The Links of GlenEagles will be opening on full greens on Friday, March 24, 2017. It’s their 3rd March opening in a row. The only 3 times they have opened in March in 20 years!
